Dr. James Hanak, executive director of the Public Cyber Charter School Association and CEO of PA Leadership Charter School recently provided his opinion on “Why criticism of cybercharter schools is off base.”

Dr. Hanak’s article is in response to the Morning Call’s column titled “Pennsylvania cyber charter schools boomed in the pandemic. Why that’s crushing taxpayers.” The column criticized cyber charter schools for overcharging taxpayers and underperforming for their students.

Hanak provides a rebuttal to the criticisms by opponents of cyber charter schools.
